Just a back story, I'm 30 yrs old and have been going to AC and the Philippines since 2005, I'm not a hardcore monger but a guy that when he likes something he will do what it takes, if that means paying then that means paying. I've been looking for a condo in Angeles to accomplish 2 things, be around expats and be close to my daughter in Mabalacat. I noticed that prices have skyrocketed and I blame this on the Asian tourists taking over the place.
You mean to tell me that a 32sqm condo is worth 75,000 USD? Be serious, I can get a condo in Miami a little bigger for less or the same. My friend bought a nice townhouse around hensonville for $65,000 years back and that place is HUGE compared to something smaller than a dexule Jacuzzi room at Pacific Breeze. It's not just property that is getting expensive, everything is going up, Food, Drinks, Girls and even beggars are asking for more money, lol. Last trip I went to Subic and really think that is better than AC, anyday of the week. Shit a girl told a friend that I was a cheap charley because I didn't tip her over 1k for short time, I mean come on.
AC is fun but I think Subic is the place to be, it just needs more Westerners, which would bring more girls and things. I'm not against Asian tourists but it seems that there's a common outcome when Asian tourists show up to a place and that's Price Hikes.
Yes, I could just live somewhere else but where am I going to find the mix of being with my daughter and also being around expats? No where as of this writing cause my daughter's mother refuses to move or let me have my daughter for an extended time period.
So if you are reading this and have not checked out Subic, please do, as long as you are not there to inflate the prices like many 2 week millionaires do.
