Some of us have or have had girfriends or wives who are or have been prostitutes. Some may be fully aware of their girlfriend's or wife's background, others may not. What do you think and how do you feel about your girlfriend or wife having been a prostitute?
I had a relationship in my own country with a prostitute (sauna masseuse), full in the knowledge that she was still working as such. It lasted several years, I was in my twenties, it was almost twenty years ago and I honestly can't remember much about it. I do recall that I was a lot less concerned about what she did than she was about my acceptance of it. I met her at her work and the relationship developed from there. I would never have introduced her to my family or married her because of her work but a few of my close friends were aware - one of them (practicing catholic) seemed to have more of an issue with it than I did. I was young and needed the money. Now that I'm older and wiser, and don't need the money, I don't think I would do that again. Before that and since, I've had lots of girlfriends who were not prostitutes.
I also had a year-long relationship with a Filipina prostitute (bar girl), who I met in the bar, which she left shortly afterwards. I was in the country for that full year (still am) and she was living with me. I doubt that I'd attempt a long-distance relationship with a bar girl/ex bar girl. I am relaxed about having casual relationships with bargirls and ex-bargirls. I'm not interested in marriage at all.
