January Report --First Timer

Arrived at 2am on an Asiana flight from Korea. My first time in AC, have been to Thailand many times. Usually fly Cathay Pacific, but, have to recommend Asiana, excellent airline. Stayed at Lewis Grand. I had researched this site many times and was expecting Lewis Grand to be in the boonies. Angeles (at least the places you want to go) is very small and not that spread out. During my time in AC I did walk into the other hotels and am very happy that I booked at the Lewis Grand. Make sure that you mention that you are a BM and get a 10% discount on everything, including food at the hotel. Initially they assigned me a to a smoking room and I thought I would throw up, they moved me the next day even though they were full. The room ( a bachelor suite) was plenty roomy. The food at the hotel is very good and reasonably priced. I will say the thing that sets this hotel apart from most other hotels I have stayed at around the world is the amazing staff. Everyone was super pleasant and very happy to help with any questions you may have. They never batted an eyelid at the number of women you bring home, I maxed out at three women one night!

AC is generally a step above a cesspool. The walk from the LG to walking street is enough to convince anyone from the western world that emission controls are really worth it. Between the 2 stroke chicken chaser motorbikes and the belching jeepneys I thought I would lose a lung to cancer. Sidewalks don't exist and drains, to the extent they appear to exist, are loaded with giant cockroaches. But, heck this is not the reason we come here.

Ok, so after I check in and a quick shower (Clark Kent would have been proud of my speed) I use the hotel car to take me to Tequilla Reef for my BM discount card. Then I walk up to walking street. Details to follow.
