Suspect in abduction of 3-month-old in Mandaluyong arrested in Bicol - report

A woman who allegedly kidnapped a three-month-old baby girl in Mandaluyong City last weekend after promising her parents she would turn the child into a commercial model was arrested in Bicol Tuesday afternoon.
The woman was arrested in Lagonoy town in Camarines Sur at 4 p.m., radio dzBB's Peewee Bacuño reported. The baby girl was still with her and in good health.
Police said the suspect was with her live-in partner when police traced her whereabouts.
Lagonoy police are waiting for their counterparts from Mandaluyong City to arrive and take custody of the suspect.
Investigation showed the suspect "borrowed" the baby girl from her 33-year-old mother in Mandaluyong City last Saturday as the child was supposedly to be used as a model in a milk product commercial.
