I've just started to book my travel plans for a June/July trip to AC. I've noticed that airline ticket prices have increased almost across the board. And they're not your typical summer time increases... in some cases, the prices have nearly doubled.
For example, Delta, which I usually fly from the East Coast for around $1300 is now between $2000 to $2200. Even the bargain basement Chinese airlines saw increases of $500 from fares that were once $1000.
Has anyone noticed these outrageous increases as well when booking their trips for the summer?
On the positive side, some of the Japanese and Taiwanese carriers (like ANA) have kept their summertime price increases to a minimum (about $200 to $300 and are about $1500).
