Winter is almost over and I'm coming back to the Philippines for the 4th summer in a row. usually stay 5 months with a visa run to Thailand just to break things up a bit.
I usually stay in Sabang but want to give Subic a try this year. Will be arriving middle of May so hope a few of the floating bars will still be out. I'm starting out staying at the Arizona for a few nights to feel out the place and get my bearings and make a few dives on the wrecks.
Few questions for you Subic regulars or full time residents...
Getting around? Tried to research about renting a small motorcycle for a week but seems I might need to go back to AC for that? I've read about a few road trips you make and would like to join you. Any local rental info would be appreciated.
Good value rooms around the 1000 peso range? prefer weekly rentals over a monthly lease.
Expat hangouts or happy hour meeting? One of the reasons I prefer Sabang over other parts of PH is the expat community located there.
Anyone need info about Sabang let me know. I'm sure I'll be spending some time down there also.
