The PNP raided venues across the Philippines, arresting 58 people suspected of sextortion - Interpol

=====================

58 people have been arrested in the Philippines for sextortion in a global operation called Operation Strikeback.  These guys would impersonate an attractive Filipina online and victims would send naked photos and videos of themselves.  Then, the scammer would extort money from those guys and threaten to show those photos and videos to their families!  Most of the victims are old lonely white guys, but a Scottish teenage committed suicide over it last year.

These arrests have been brought about by law enforcement agencies from around the world include those from the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Scotland and Australia.

You might think no guy would be dumb enough to fall for it.   But as these arrests show, they're making lucrative money.  They're pretty organized, with a call center set up and employees would get bonuses for hitting certain targets.

In a recent thread, I posed with a fake DIA profile and easily got over 200 guys in a two hour period hitting me up.  Lemme tell you...this is easy money.  When guys have sex on their minds, all commonsense goes out the window.  And when you add that "Filipinas like old guys" and "Filipinas are hornier" mentality that you often read on mongering forums, victims don't think there's anything unusual with a young Filipina flirting and being sexual online with them.

Bottom line is, never send money EVER.  If you think "this girl is different", it usually means the "girl" is more skilled than most.
