I have read some horror stories about Phils Immigration not letting BM's g/f's out of the country when fronting at the airport for their flight so I thought I would post a positive experience.
Mate took his g/f of 12 months to Bangkok for 10 days, he is 45 she is 19....so a possible 'red flag' for Immigration
They both fronted at Manila Airport Immigration and the following occurred -
both were questioned on their relationship but as they had a 'real relationship' their stories matched
1. they had photos of them at a few Phils holiday locations over the 12 month period
2. they had kept boarding passes from previous domestic flights that they took together
3. they had kept hotel booking confirmations from their trips
4. my mate had to sign a Statutory Declaration stating that he would bring her back to Phils on completion of holiday and that he would accept responsibility for her while overseas
All in all - a delay of max 5 minutes added to their Immigration processing with no ill-intent or bad vibes from Immigration, and they were on their way
Basically from what my mate described it did appear that Phils Immigration was actually acting in the interests of their citizen(s)
