Okay, after reading this thread, it seems my plans have been modified and I've ruled out Angeles City for New Years.
My current plan is as follows:
- December 21st - 24th - Angeles City (3 nights prior to Christmas)
- December 24th - 29th - Makati (5 nights prior to New Years, includes Christmas and Christmas Eve)
- December 29th - January 5h - Cebu (Pre-New Year's, New Year's, and post-New Year's)
This will be my first trip to Cebu, but I have plenty of time to get the basics on the mongering scene there and how it differs from my wealth of knowledge and experience from Angeles, Subic, and Makati.
My question is, how is New Year's Eve in Cebu?
Here's a thread I started pertaining to accommodations and some basic questions about Cebu.
So, in comparison to responses pertaining to Angeles City, how is Cebu the couple of days prior to New Years? (December 29th through 31st)
How is it during New Years? Options for NYE?
How is it from January 1st through Januray 4th?
Again, this will be my very first time and I'm leaning towards Cebu for this time period vs. the other options in the Philippines during this 7-day period.
