Dawned on me, even through my caffeine-addled brain, that we NEVER, never EVER, used to talk about something like TRAFFIC in AC!
Now, it has really become an issue. Especially if you want to try somehow getting to Fields on the Weekend between 5 & 8...
The total lack of planning, the crumbling-everywhere "infrastructure" - if the city is SO economically successful, you would think they would at LEAST fill in the crater-sized holes everywhere that swallow jeeps whole (uh, swallow jeeps whole you say? Maybe should just make MORE holes).
Since almost everywhere you want to go is connected by a very tenuous maze of SINGLE-LANE-FOR-TRAVEL "roads,"(some roads are of course wider, but between the squatters, jeeps, and trikes, they leave only 1 lane) the smallest hold-up in one of the midget streets - happen all the time - effectively reverberates through-out the entire area.
Try getting to SM MALL from anyhere between 5 & 6:30, as the Base empties out, and everyone else is trying to get INTO the mall to eat and wander around in large clumps glassy-eyed and oblivious.
Never mind trying to PARK anywhere NEAR Fields...
Add in the massive increase of Muslim squatters with stalls IN the street - effectively turning many streets into de-facto one way (I'm looking at you, tiny street in front of Pussycat Dolls for example) - and you have a growing nightmare!
And the solution to this chaos?
That is pretty much turning AC into a sort of mini-microcosm of the WORST of Manila traffic access?
Let's build a LOT more and a LOT bigger fucking hotels and condos and shit, right where the traffic is the most impossible ALREADY!
Let's make sure we do NOTHING to address the obvious problems, bahala na they say, it'll all work out - or maybe not - so what, stop Bogarting that rice!

We did finally make it over to Fields for a bit of a frolic
so it wasn't all bad.
Used ta be a guy, back inna day, would always wanna
stay at a hotel got small beds. He had a point.
Another trio that sort of makes it cool to have a
skinny bed so you can all get really close.
