Hey guys, first of all it's not the amount that bothers me, it's all about principles.
I've heard from a friend of mine that the 7/11 in Fields avenue, corner teodoro st. is scamming. He told me that when he checks his receipts, sometimes there are things on it that he hadn't bought. It's just small amounts, like chewing gums etc. So normally no one realizes.
Well he told me that he found this out, years ago.
So on my October trip I went there, bought some stuff and asked for the reiceipt. And there it was!! a can of coke zero that I hadn't bought.
I asked the clerk about the can, he told me it was mistake of the cash desk and anyways it's just 26 PHP.
So I know two guys that have also been scammed by that 7/11 and they are doing it for years.
If I can't avoid buying there I always check my receipts now. I don't care about the 30PHP or what, but I just hate being frauded.
So guys check your receipts, I bet it happened to you, too
