Happy Birthday Sir Richard Branson, Born on 18 July 1950, founder of Virgin Records and the Virgin Empire.
I first met Sir Richard in 1989, when we both started learning to skydive. His reason was to prepare himself for his ballooning exploits, whereas mine was to skydive into music festivals where I was performing.

After that, Sir Richard invited me to play at many of his lavish parties, including entertaining Hollywood's elite at the Cannes Film Festival in France. Rockin Dave skydived with his ‘Skyjivers’ parachute display team onto the prestigious City’s Palm Beach.

Rockin' Dave, with his extraordinary custom-built Rockin' Piano and magnificent show band, brought Hollywood stars to their knees on two consecutive years at the Cannes TV and Film Festival. Rockin Dave's 1000-strong audience included Steven Spielberg, Charles Bronson, Val Kilmer and Sir Richard Branson at the Austin Powers spoof movie, "The Spy Who Shagged Me" launch party!
On 15 May 1998, the sky is no longer the limit at the Cannes Film Festival.
