Just joined. Like the site and the advice I'm seeing. I hope to add value, but I plan on enjoying the entertainment. Would love to find a way to work in the Philippines or Asia. (Will look for advice on that later.)
Been to PI many times. First time was a few years ago to meet an "internet" pal. Lets just say it was part of many scams I got caught in. I'm the typical nice guy type that everyone preys upon and at the time easy fodder for the gals. I was a fool and parted with money. Hard knocks sometimes is how you learn. I really wish I'd known about this formum then. I'll chime in when I see something obvious.
I lucked out and a close friend from the US introduced me to the most awesome lady there. Just wish I'd enjoyed the fauna a bit more before getting married.
I'm tech oriented so I'll chime in on those levels. Looking to work and eventually retire in PI.
